: - ) ALL Members' Q&A with the one and only Sabrina Sutherland!

Sabrina, one of the niftiest things Lynch did in the late 2000s was release The Lime Green Set. I even hear he was to appear on late night TV just to promote it. Could you tell us a little about the making of that set? Were there plans for another? David was so good at creating those menus (as well as Eraserhead, Inland Empire, Dynamic:01) and I assume that came from the work on DavidLynch.com. Any chance we will see more of that?

I was just about to post a similar question! So I'll add on to that:

Hey Sabrina, the title of the dvd collection of some of David's internet shorts, "Dynamic:01", has always made me wonder: were there ever any plans for a "Dynamic:02"?

One of his old shorts that hadn't been re-released was posted as part of David Lynch Theater, and it was wonderful to see, along with the new shorts, of course! Might we see more one day? From what I understand there's a great deal of material that was never collected again.

Hey Sabrina, I remember reading that when Season 3 was originally 9 episodes long, the story was kinda quite different. Like Naido had a completely different storyline. What else was different?

Small question for Sabrina: Erica Eynon is credited as "Experiment Model" in part 1 of Season 3, but "Experiment" in part 8. What is the reason for this difference, and is it intended to be the same character?

Apologies if I am perpetuating gossip here — but I recall reading something online after episode 17 of The Return, something that suggested that Julee Cruise was upset at David for closing ep 17 with her lip syncing the original version of “The World Spins”, as opposed to her performing (or I guess lip syncing) a new version of it with The Chromatics.
Untrue

I recall the post, which was in the form of a very emotional rant (or tantrum), and I don't think that there was anything at all in there about any kind of new version of the song, be it with The Chromatics or anybody else. I also don't think that Cruise supplied any explanation for exactly what it was about her appearance that had her so worked up, but like many others, I suspected that it might have been related to the fact that the song was truncated, as LateReg mentioned, and that at some point credits appeared on the screen, if memory serves.
Not true

Sabrina, will David ever continue his weather reports? Also are you in touch with Mark Frost. We love and miss him as well .

Well, whatever in saṃsāra it was about Julee’s perception of her appearance that somehow correlated with her widely-witnessed bout of acute distress on Facebook that night, I can only hope that she was somehow aided in regaining some peace and equilibrium.

We all deeply cherish Julee’s work with David and Angelo.

Yeah, I'm confused. We saw her Facebook post. It was strange.

Right. Well, you know, Julee had demonstrated somewhat of a sensitive and emotional nature in the past, and we later discovered that she'd been dealing with some terrible health issues. I think that now it's probably for the best if we let the matter be.

When I discovered Mylène Farmer on late night VH1 in the 1990s, her voice seemed to me like that of a French Julee Cruise. It's fitting that David Lynch has done a remix of Mylène Farmer song from her middle years when she still did the breathy vocals (her voice, naturally, has deepened somewhat as the years have gone by!) I actually received a copy of Floating into the Night on CD today!

Sabrina, will David ever continue his weather reports?
She already answered this, less than a week ago, in this forum. If possible, let's try not to re-ask the same things over again. (Her answer, fwiw: "As for the fun work train, unfortunately (or fortunately for David), he has been having too much fun on his artwork and music right now and didn't want to lose this focus, so he stopped the Weather Report and Number of the Day and everything else so he could enjoy the focus of this work. I hope he goes back to it someday, but for now he's still riding the fun work train and only focused on that.")

If I were to ask another question it would be this: a few years ago fans noted that the public U.S. copyright catalog listed a registration by David for a "poem" titled "In the Dream." It's totally understandable if this is not something you can comment on, but if you can, then is "In the Dream" something related to Unrecorded Night? If it's something different, then what - lyrics? A poetry manuscript that we might one day see get published? Something else? Anything that can be said about it? Thanks.

And I'm sure I speak for a lot of people here when I say that we completely understand if you'd prefer to just skip over some questions, or just stop responding to these questions entirely. We're very thankful for the time you've so generously already spent here, and realize that you're busy. Thank you again for everything.

Thank you for taking so much time to answer these questions! If you are still responding to this thread, I was just wondering if David has ever given his thoughts on whether there was an upside to “killing the golden goose” at the heart of Twin Peaks. I know he likes to say that the mystery of Laura’s killer should never have been solved, but considering that the reveal led to the beautiful end of episode 14, and of course Fire Walk With Me, doesn’t he feel it ultimately added a lot of power to Twin Peaks as a whole?

@Jasper and I were discussing this and planning a notice on not repeating questions – unanswered or not. You got there first and put it rather nicely.

Also: not reformulating previously answered questions with a slightly different angle.

Trouble is, we've reached 11 pages. Maybe there needs to be a pinned post at the top of the thread collating the questions asked and linking to the relevant answer. Sorry, I know that's probably asking a lot of someone (I'd offer to do it myself if I could figure out how) but when you get into double figures of pages, inevitably people won't read everything.

Sorry for reposting my unanswered question, I'm just really curious and I can't tell if it was lost in the shuffle of posts or Sabrina doesn't want to answer for some reason.
