It is with heavy hearts that we must share the news of the passing of a well known eccentric resident of Kalispell Montana, and of these interrelated Twin Peaks online forums, the poster known by the name of Mordeen.

Mordeen was a family man, metal fan, nature lover, feather ruffler, Twin Peaks fanatic, and Photoshop enthusiast who created something of a cult of poking fun at the character of John Justice Wheeler and his infamous scene-stealing sweater.

Condolences to Mordeen's family and friends.

In his memory, let us all enjoy this small, hastily assembled gallery featuring a few of Mordeen's countless artistic creations.

Thank you, Mordeen, for making the world of Twin Peaks fandom a little weirder and more unpredictable.

I'm...thoroughly confused. I'm very sorry to hear this and would appreciate more information if possible, even if it's not any of my business. It's just shocking and saddening.

We haven't got any additional details at this time.

Very sorry to hear this. My condolences to his family, and to those in the fan community who were close to him. I didn’t always see eye to eye with him, but no one can deny his zealous passion for and devotion to the world of Twin Peaks. Based on the little I know of his life, he was far too young to meet his Dweller on the Threshold.

I've come to expect news of the passing of those who made TP, not so much those who loved it and breathed life into our little unofficial corners... being the sad reminder of how fleeting our time on Earth is that this is, I'd like to say to the still living: the reason I log in so frequently is that in no small way you all contribute to brightening my day and doing away with the sadnesses that come with being a mere mortal.

I was very sorry to hear of his passing from a mutual friend. Quite the shock as we had been in contact a few months back talking about the ongoing rumours about lynch getting back to work (or not). RIP Mordeen.

Thank you for bringing us the news.

Damn, this is a bummer. He certainly had his opinions and even if I seldom agreed with them, I consider anybody passionate enough about Lynch and his works to engage in the discourse in these hidden corners of the internet to be a kindred spirit.

Very sad news. I didn't have that much contact with him directly, but he was a unique contributor to these forums, whose posts I read with interest, always finding them honest and witty. Strange to think that he will never post again.

My condolences to his family and friends, and to all of you fellow posters here who have been discussing our favourite series with him for many years.

Rest in peace, Mordeen.
