While it’s most likely the chair at Jasmin’s in-laws place, the one with Betty Briggs’s favourite magic trick, what if it’s actually the one Andy and Lucy are arguing over? Or maybe it’s the one on the plane where Albert snoozes and does his own Fuck You? How about where Diane sits as she receives a mysterious text? (Okay, that’s a couch, but still.) And let’s not forget the chair Bill Hastings sits on during his FBI interrogation - could that be THE chair? Ok, that’s enough investigating for today, let’s relax with a little scuba diving and mixed drinks on the beach!

We all know dreams are a prominent theme in Twin Peaks, and The Return Part 10 definitely reps the nightmare side of all that. It’s a very tough and heavy episode with a lot of violence, some of which, we argue, is completely unnecessary. Still, there are some bright spots in all the darkness, like Margaret’s beautiful poem and the reveal that Nadine’s own dreams have finally become a reality.
