  • 4K digital restoration, with 5.1 surround DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack, supervised and approved by director David Lynch
  • Alternate original 2.0 surround soundtrack
  • One 4K UHD disc of the film presented in Dolby Vision HDR and one Blu-ray with the film and special features
  • The Lost Footage, fifty-three minutes of deleted scenes and alternate takes assembled by Lynch

Nice! What it doesn't say is whether the 2.0 soundtrack is the original mix. It also doesn't say whether the lost footage will be in HD or 4K . Presumably it'll be HD.

It says it’s the original on Criterion’s website just like the old Blu Ray says. Did I miss something?

I do wonder however if this is the same remaster Lynch did years ago just released uncompressed or if it’s something he’s done recently. I vaguely remember the Mulholland Drive 4k being different
