Cheryl Lee Latter of Between Two Worlds joins me on her first podcast to discuss Ronette Pulaski. We talk a lot about the sensitive subject matter surrounding her in this particular episode, but still find positivity in the midst of her arc.
Please check out Cheryl Lee's writing and the Between Two Worlds group whenever you have the chance. She, along with others of BTW offer a lot of great insight on both.
John Bernardy of Blue Rose Task Force joins me to discuss Dr. Jacoby with me and his arc throughout all 3 seasons, the Missing Pieces and the books. His extensive knowledge on the Secret History of Twin Peaks adds a lot to an already complicated character, and be sure to listen to Blue Rose Task for for further great insight from him.
Jill Watson joins me this week to discuss Evelyn Wang from the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once. We discuss the symbiology of circles, references to Twin Peaks, Eastern Religion and comparisons of the Hero's/Heroine's Journey (from Joseph Campbell and Maureen Murdock respectively).
Greg of Twede's Cafe joins me this week as we discuss Shelly Johnson, the recurring people in her life, and of course Twede's Cafe and Twin Peaks fans that come in daily.
Dustin from Wisteria Lodge joins me this week to talk about Judy. What started off as primarily a Sarah Palmer episode slowly turned into Judy, focusing more so on how she thrives off of the pain and sorrow in a more domestic setting.
Pam from Between Two Worlds returns as we discuss Josie's effect on the lives those closest to her in Twin Peaks, her background established in The Secret History and a lot of great insight on Pam's part.
Amy Shiels joined me for my first ever interview (which I am still pretty shocked even happened) as we talk about Her experience working with David Lynch, experiences as Candie, a bit about The Secret History of Twin Peaks, and just an all around great time.
Craig of Twin Peaks: Evangelion joins me this week to discuss both the purity and aloofness of Andy Brennan, his relationships with those closest to him, and his prominent role to the mythos at large. This spans across all 3 seasons, a mention of the Secret History of Twin Peaks, and a scene from the Missing Pieces that may hold more significance than initially realized.
Madi and Cameron of Queen of Hearts: A Twin Peaks Fanfilm join me this week to discuss Annie Blackburn, with her complex backstory in The Final Dossier, her prominence in Season 2, as well as Fire Walk With Me and The Missing Pieces. A lot of this episode is talked about through the lens of their film, so if you have yet to watch it, it would add a lot to the discussion.
I used to enjoy TMBG back in the day. You should reach out to some other podcasts. The community seems really open to everyone.Hmmm...I have my own podcast (unrelated to Lynch) and I'm obsessed with Twin Peaks and quite chatty...would love to be on something like this sometime! Cross promotion, etc. My podcast is about the band They Might Be Giants and going strong, and I actually bring up Lynch way too much on it.
