Something I’d never noticed before: the apartment directory in Dorothy’s building, in addition to listing Lynch himself, Patty Norris and some other art department people, and producer Fred Caruso, also pays tribute to several people who had helped Lynch along in his career up to that point: Bushnell Keeler who got him into the Pennsylvania Academy for the Fine Arts, AFI director Tony Vellani, Midnight Movie mogul Ben Barenholtz who distributed Eraserhead, Mel Brooks, and the screen writers of The Elephant Man Chris De Vore and Eric Bergren.
